Summer Is Coming — and So Is the Tehachapi Farmers Market

Farmers markets, concerts, festivals and community events are about to bring downtown Tehachapi back to life for the summer season.

Mark your calendars for the return of one of Tehachapi’s favorite warm-weather traditions. The Tehachapi Farmers Market kicks off June 4, running every Thursday through August 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. along Green Street and in Centennial Plaza downtown.

A Summer Tradition Returns Downtown

Expect fresh produce, artisan goods, and live music — the kind of evening that makes you glad you live here.

The farmers market has become one of Tehachapi’s most popular seasonal gatherings, bringing residents and visitors together for food, shopping and community connection in the center of town.

And that’s just the start of a packed summer. The 3rd Annual Wind and Kite Festival lands June 13 at Meadowbrook Park, with kite flying, food, live music, vendor booths, and a movie night starting at 8 p.m.

Summer Events

“If you’ve been waiting for a reason to get outside and into the community, the next few months are going to give you plenty.”

Then on June 20, Music on the Mountain launches the new Summer Concert Series at the newly improved Railroad Park.

With multiple community events arriving back-to-back, Tehachapi’s summer calendar is shaping up to be one of the busiest and most active seasons the town has seen in years.
